The Way of The Greeks
Read the source story here.
A case of fair-weather friendship, no doubt.
The first thing that that should probably be mentioned – and I never thought I'd be saying this on my show – is that Biden, somehow, for reasons too chortle inducing to vivisect here right now, is in the White House leaving his phone in the fridge again. I admit, while I knew there was some honk-honkery at play in my last News Corner when I talked about Dominion – one of the most overtly evil sounding firms I've ever heard of – I certainly didn't expect the mounds of supposedly non-existent evidence of said honk-honkery to be more or less ignored by everyone meant to review and scrutinize it. That threw me for a bit of a loop, to be honest. But I digress. I'm sure Glass Joe will get his own video down the road.
Now, I don't trust an AP poll as far as I can throw it, or really any poll after 2016. But this is exactly the kind of ebb and flow that's to be expected. I'm sure if you dug around you'd find a more or less perfectly inverted set of findings after Trump won that historic shit-flinging contest what seems like so long ago now. Unfortunately, the shit just kind of kept flying and the stench got to people. In their lemming-like minds, supporting an Alzheimer addled careerist and an openly stated diversity hire that had something like 6% approval during the primary before getting dumpstered by Tulsi Gabbard was a path to the “good old days”. Odd, considering democrats love to talk about moving forward not backward, but hey, you get fucked in the bed that you make.
If you play a game and win, chances are that you'll report having a more positive impression of the game than if you lose. That's just how it is. But the fact that the AP seemed to feel the need publish these supposed findings to their three or four attentive readers is a tad suspect. Almost as if it were meant as a segway into a proposal for replacement for democracy. Does it feel hot in this pot, or is it just me?
Were I conducting this poll myself, I'd be sure include the most important question a person can ever ask about anything – why?
What a beautiful word and letter “why” is.
What I think would be most important to extract from these people, again, supposedly being polled by the AP, would be why our, AGAIN, supposedly democratic institutions are a boon or a bane. The smooth-brain answer, of course being, “Well, sometimes those other guys win and we lose, grrr.” A good answer being something like “Well, the media feeds us a bunch of shit for breakfast, lunch, and dinner about damn-near everything and unduly taints public opinion thus resulting in shit-tier representatives and policies. A Elder God-Tier Super-Cluster Brained answer would go something like “Well, there's no real choice to make because the establishment runs both political parties thus rendering the idea of a flowing, elected government null and void.” That's how you really gauge the country's thoughts on democracy.
But I guess if they were to replace the democratic republic system with something they'd probably try to make it a Parliament: A super shitty European-style abomination that the oppressed seem to just love across the pond. Not that I have any real faith in the machine to pull it off since their mask fell off and anyone bothered to look can see its face now. Corruption is such a normal and natural component of human hierarchies that I hesitate to even call it corruption at all. If you've ever wondered where the terms “left wing” and “right wing” came from, I suggest you look up “Left-Hand Path” and “Right-Hand Path”. I think you'll find it quite educational.
