I heard people asking, “If there is a God, why does he not eliminate all the evil, pain, hurt, hate, theft, immorality, etc., so everything would always be good, happy, healthy, helping, loving, etc.?”  Actually, God is in the process of doing this right now.  We want to make sure we are not a part of the evil that God is going to be destroying/eliminating, in his actions of making everything good.

We all follow our own heart, either to do good, or to do evil.  People, with a good heart, love God and are drawn to God, which results with us receiving God’s mercy, and God leading us upward into Godly righteousness.  People with an evil heart do not love God, which results with them traveling downward farther away from God and Godly righteousness.

At one time or another everybody has sinned.  But Christ’s death on the cross made us a way to get a new heart.  While we are still alive, we may genuinely repent (obeying Acts 2:38), and get a new heart through Jesus Christ, a heart that genuinely loves God and desires to obey God.  After this, the person with his new heart will have God living inside of him, causing him to start growing upward out of his sinning.

Everyone who wants to go to Heaven, instead of the other place, needs to receive a heart that loves God.  Everyone who refuses to love God and exit their sinning will end up where they do not want to go, for eternity.  Not believing in Judgement Day will not stop it from coming.

Evil means: contrary to God.  We read the Bible to learn which things are good (God’s way), and which things are evil (contrary to God’s way).
