The fact that he couldn't – fucking couldn't – bring himself to exclaim flatly that eradicating an entire denomination of people via a combination of cultural erosion, sterilization and forced copulation is a bad thing speaks volumes as to whom he feels uncomfortable talking shit about. Wouldn't want some more photos of Hunter to get “leaked” would we, Joe?

I've brought up the Uighurs or however the hell that word's pronouned before; you may recall my piece on Disney some months ago heaping praise on prison-camp staff during the filming of the live-action Mulan movie for their “cooperation”. Probably provided “entertainment” to a few execs too. What's happening there is, for all intents and purposes, no different than the multiple exterminations seen in the mid-20th century – yes, there was more than just the one that ever gets talked about. Far too many. And you know what? Nobody really seems to give a shit. Isn't that weird?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not about to volunteer my life for some far-flung tribe and get shipped off to boot camp for some empty liberation escapade, nor would I recommend such a doomed path to anyone else (Well, maybe John Sullivan). It's just strange having grown up in a world where we were supposed to “never forget”, and stories like the Uighur one just slip by the public consciousness more or less unnoticed unless it's for some cheap reddit karma or political posturing that doesn't go anywhere. Guess I'm just a little disillusioned.

Do you remember that Kony 2012 bullshit that happened almost a decade ago? That scam about that dead man in Africa abducting kids in Kenya or something and making them into child soldier? What was so weird about that is there were and are child soldiers in Africa, but since Kony wasn't everyone stopped caring – or, at least, stopped pretending to care on facebook. And you see this everywhere in grievance politics: The Christian crowd harps about Christians in the middle east being shot into bits and then does nothing. The white ethnonats bitch about white genocide and then don't have kids. The BLM and black separatist cunts whinge about slavery and reparations, but ignore the open-air slave markets in Lybia where their “brothers and sisters” are trained like Babe Ruth baseball cards on a playground.

Hell, even the planetary cataclysm “global warming” only seems to be an imminate threat once every four years.

Nobody really seems to give a shit enough to talk about anything like this unless it's an election year or a midterm, and I'm not quite sure how to feel about that.

In any case, unless some coalition of Arab states get together to do something, the Uighurs are probably fucked. It's tragic, and will make it a lot easier for China to do this to their next designated target, which they will of course have. And it's thanks in large-part to “leaders” like Glass Joe who just gloss over such things that essentially give the green light. Guess the Uighurs should have made a campaign donation...
