For the life of me, I cannot comprehend this pick. This pairing can only be the product of a closed door decision to throw the election, wipe the slate clean of these losers and try again in four year hoping Trump isn’t mentoring some spicy new successor. But that’s wishful thinking.

Camel Toe Harris (I love that nickname), like all good practitioners of political theater, is a pretender. She’s pretending to be the more left-leaning Veep to compliment Biden’s supposed moderate stance. In reality, they’re both old-guard authoritarian neo-liberals – at least Kamala is, I don’t think Joe even knows who he is anymore. But it’s easy to sniff out Kamala’s bullshit because, although she’d never admit to it, she has a record prior to the primaries that she clocked in at about a high of 15% or so percent of in-party approval. That record that she is so afraid of is, hilariously enough, is that of a prosecutor. A top cop.

I’ll rarely use Twitter as a source and never as a reliable one, but nobody there seemed particularly plussed about Joe’s pick say for the hardcore Kamala crowd – all six of them. I’m eager to see how Joe’s numbers are looking after this, but that’ll take a few more days at least to get a good read. I bet they’re bad. Might be good with the clueless moderates and undecideds, but probably less so with the black-bloc, though they only care about phenotypical traits because they’re all fucked in the head in more ways than not. Personally, I blame fatherless homes and adjustable difficulty settings in video games.

I’m sure you’re all aware of this, but in case you aren’t let me say it now: This is a Trump vs Harris election. You don’t even have to dig that deep to find pieces stated that Joe is prepared to “move aside”, and you don’t need a worthless journalism degree to decipher that wording. Biden is either the old, luxury car being used to shuttle Harris to unelected power, or her coffin as the party secretly conspires against the both of them. Odd as it may sound at first, but I’d be will to bet it’s a bit of both: if they win they win (they won’t) and if they lose they get rid of two ineffectual game pieces. A sad gambit, but at least it will be entertaining.

Aside from, ironically, exceeding at attacking Biden during the primaries, Kamala was a terrible debater and got a beautiful smackdown from Tulsi Gabberd – someone I only voted for in the Michigan primaries as a joke, but would prefer leaps and fucking bounds more than this diversity hire. Which is literally what Harris is. The cacophony of screeching demanding that Biden’s Veep be a woman of color (that weird backwards non-slur) has been set at a deafening volume since he was the presumptive nominee. Stacy Abrams would have been the only pick funnier than Harris, unless Biden actually thought Warren was Meso-American. THAT would have been solid fucking gold.

It’s gonna be a fun rest of the year.
