Their interventions to silence doctors and medical studies constitutes "practicing medicine" which makes this a legal matter in every jurisdiction where licensure exists. THIS is horrible reporting. It's not "new", and it's not a vulnerability in chrome. Extensions are a feature that are often abused by malicious users. Every browser has these same features and potential for abuse. The big difference is not even mentioned in the article - and that's that due to the scamdemic lockdown, which prevented many people in CA from being able to go to work, Google shut off their review & feedback features in the app store which means that during the last 3+ months people like me were unable to report/flag malicious extensions so they stayed up until the 16th when people were allowed to return to work in the bay.
