When Congress sought to end the THEFT by Police by stopping civil asset THEFT, over 3100 Sheriffs signed a letter begging them NOT TO END THE PROGRAM that allows them to steal the property of Americans without due process! They claimed civil asset THEFT is “a valuable tool in combating serious wrongdoing.” And they claimed it's a valuable weapon in fighting the cartels.... But they NEVER steal cartel money! They steal the money of hard working Americans! Complete and total THIEVERY IN PLAIN SIGHT! ALL of these criminals should be tried for their crimes!
