I’ve been a Registered Nurse for 45 years and have always loved my profession. As a mother of five sons, the flexible hours allowed me to work around their schedules. I cherished my time in the ICU and ER, working alongside firefighters, police officers, and doctors. We were like family, celebrating holidays and traveling together. I genuinely loved my patients.However, now at 65, I am utterly disgusted with the state of healthcare. After being admitted to the ICU for 12 days, I was treated terribly and barely survived due to the poor care. I never want to experience that again and have signed a DNR to avoid such an end.I no longer recommend anyone pursue a career in nursing. During my stay, an RN would only come in for a few minutes a couple of times per shift, constantly interrupted by her hospital phone. From my bed, I could see other patients’ heart rhythms, with alarms going off continuously and being ignored. Some patients were in life-threatening ventricular fibrillation, with no response from the staff. I had to ring my bell to alert them to these emergencies. The care was absolutely appalling.
Never again.

My distrust of doctors was exacerbated by their response to the pandemic. I now think it's more dangerous to see a doctor than not to.

In my mind I believe that if there is a WILL there is always a WAY.

When it comes to 'Helene' there seems to be a lot of -NO-WILL-.
It is more like Lahaina one more time.
FEMA stops, FEMA threatens people who does what should be done,
If FEMA just would get out of the way and let people of America take care of rescue. Together good people can do a lot better.

Because if you trust the government, you wait, and wait, and wait.

I predict that when America awaken, the wrath of God and the "We the people" will come down on FEMA and those they once trusted.

Supposedly, 254,000 jobs were created in September. Isn’t that amazing, that this report came out one month before the election?
Of course, Biden/Harris & Their MSM Pissbucket Cleaners Raved over the numbers BUT Never got into the details.
Here is one important detail: government jobs showed a gain of 785,000 because of the second biggest seasonal adjustment on record. (It is easy to manipulate numbers when you have “seasonal adjustments.”) This would mean that private-sector employment declined 531,000 with seasonal adjustments. I would say that is not too much to brag about. Somehow, the voters don’t get to see that number, but they know that the economy has sucked the past four years because they can’t pay their bills.
In September, the number of government workers as tracked by the Household Survey soared by 785K, from 21.421 million to 22.216 million, both seasonally adjusted (source: Table A8 from the jobs report). This was the biggest monthly surge in government workers on record (excluding the outlier print in June 2020 which was a reversal of the record plunge from the Covid collapse months before).
And, from the Department of Labor itself: Private-sector employment, not seasonally adjusted, went down 458,000. What would the voters think if they saw the factual number instead of the seasonally adjusted number?
And Let's remember: recently, the Department of Labor said it overestimated jobs by 881,000 in a year. It is sad when so many trust government numbers when they are so consistently wrong.

The only recourse at this point in Minnesota and other states in which harmful and deceptive indoctrination is prevailing in the public school system will be for parents to pull their children out of the public school system and seek out other venues that can be trusted to provide an honest education that is fact-based, truth-based, and founded in common sense.
