A new study hot off the press has confirmed what most of us already knew: people who get "gender-affirming" surgery have more than 12 times higher instances of suicide attempts than those who don't get the surgeries.

  • Differences Between Socialism & Communism:

-What is a Communist? Communists own nothing, work until they retire (with both socialism and communism, you don't get to choose when you retire the government does), work for free, but are provided for by the government. Their borders are closed because they can't pay for anyone else to join them. No country has ever reached communism. This is what all Socialists aim for, but always miss.

-What is a Socialist? A Socialist is a middle point in between Communism and Capitalism. They still have money, and everyone is MADE to work. You don't work, you get "disappeared" (and you never come back). All the bad things you hear about communism is actually Socialism. Why is there always a dictator? Because there's always some asshole not willing to work. Most leftists think they can just stay home and not work with socialism. Socialism and Communism doesn't work that way.

-What is a Nazi? They're Police State Socialists. That's exactly what the left-wing, the Dems and the DS are Aiming for in America.

  • The study an Internet Institute report, Internet access positively affect on health over people's well-being. It found that individuals with Internet access reported being 8% happier than those without it. This conclusion is interesting, especially given the range of ways people use the Internet, from learning new skills and pursuing hobbies to socializing and accessing entertainment.

However, the study did not specifically delve into the impact of social media, which is a notable limitation. Recent research has highlighted concerns about how social media use can negatively affect mental health like Facebook. , The institute report different online activities can have varied effects on well-being, indicating that the relationship between technology and health is multifaceted. This study underscores the need for more interesting investigations into the specific culture of different online behaviors on overall well-being.

  • Always keep learning, or your brain dies. Doctors say that if you don't use something in your body, that that body part starts to atrophy. Like your muscles. You don't want that.

  • Time for another beer. Then maybe a nap.

I mowed the lawn today, and after doing so
I sat down and had a cold beer.

The day was really quite beautiful, and the drink facilitated some deep thinking.

My wife walked by and asked me what I was doing, and I said, "Nothing."

The reason I said "nothing" instead of saying "just thinking" is because she then would have asked, "About what?"

At that point I would have had to explain that men are deep thinkers about various topics, which would lead to other questions.

Finally I pondered an age old question: Is giving birth more painful than getting kicked in the nuts?

Women always maintain that giving birth is way more painful than a guy getting kicked in the nuts, but how could they know?

Well, after another beer, and some more heavy deductive thinking, I have come up with an answer to that question.

Getting kicked in the nuts is more painful than having a baby, and even though I obviously couldn't really know, here is the reason for my conclusion:

A year or so after giving birth, a woman will often say, "It might be nice to have another child."

But you never hear a guy say, "You know, I think I would like another kick in the nuts."

    I rest my case.
Time for another beer. Then maybe a nap.

Just kidding. I quit drinking beer almost 25 years ago, but I found this so hilarious, I couldn't resist reposting it.
