  • March 15, 1965 – Gen. Harold K. Johnson, Army Chief of Staff, reports on his recent visit to Vietnam to President Lyndon B. Johnson and Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara. He admitted that the recent air raids ordered by President Johnson had not affected the course of the war and said he would like to assign an American division to hold coastal enclaves and defend the Central Highlands. General Johnson also advocated creating a four-division force of Southeast Asia Treaty Organization (SEATO) and U.S. troops to patrol the Demilitarized Zone along the border separating North and South Vietnam and Laos. Nothing ever came of General Johnson’s recommendation on the SEATO troops, but President Johnson ordered the 173rd Airborne Brigade to Vietnam in May 1965 and followed it with the 1st Cavalry Division (Airmobile) in September of the same year. These forces, along with the first contingent of U.S. Marines–which had arrived in March–were only the first of a massive American build up. By 1969, there were more than 540,000 U.S. troops in South Vietnam.

So Joe Biden's vision of America’s future is California which has been controlled by the Democratic party for years. So let’s take a look at what's in store for the rest of America.
California has the highest gas prices in the nation, it also is in the top five for highest electrical prices. It now experiences regular electrical brown and black outs.
California has the highest income tax and sales tax in the nation.
California has the largest number of homeless people in the US, 151,000. Up 22% in the last 10 years.
California has the highest median housing cost in the continental US. Only 26 percent of Californians can afford the median home price. That number is even lower among the minority population.
California had more than 175,000 cases of rape, robbery, murder, and aggravated assault in 2018, more violent crimes than any other state.
California has the highest number of illegal aliens 2.2 million as of 2016 living in the state.
19% of Californians live below the poverty level, 3rd highest in the nation.
The California middle class is shrinking, was 60% in 1970 now 50%.
Businesses large and small are fleeing the state, as are many people.
California has some of the worst traffic in the country, and 2nd worst roads.
California ranks 34 in Academic Performance, yet is 3rd highest Academic Investment.
California pensions. Between the two pension systems, the state's pension unfunded liabilities are estimated to total $93.1 billion ($59.7 billion at CalPERS for state employee pensions and $33.4 billion at CalSTRS for teachers' pensions)
Is this what the rest of Americans who voted for Biden want, I don’t think so.
