Legend of Úna Bhán

MacDermott was the Chieftain of Moylurg, a Celtic Kingdom in North Roscommon. He had a beautiful daughter, Úna Bhán, - so named because of her long blonde hair. His neighbour was Tomás Láidir Costello, a good and sincere man, handsome and strong.
Úna Bhán and Tomás Láidir fell in love and wished to marry but MacDermot would not allow the marriage because he believed Tomás Láidir was not good enough for his daughter. Tomás Láidir was banished from the area and MacDermot had Úna Bhán confined on Castle Island, Lough Key, then called "The Rock", which was located in the centre of MacDermot territory.
Úna Bhán went into a deep melancholy and was dying of grief. Tomás Láidir, hearing of the situation went to see her and when he left, vowed that if MacDermot did not send a message for him to return before he reached the river, he would never go back. The messenger was sent, but did not reach Tomás Láidir until after he had crossed the river. Being a man of honour Tomás Láidir was unable to break his vow and did not return.
Úna Bhán died of a broken heart and was buried on Trinity Island, an island on Lough key. In his grief Tomás Láidir used to swim to the island every night to keep vigil at her grave. Eventually he got pneumonia and realising that he was dying requested that MacDermot allow him to be buried beside Úna Bhán. His request was granted and thus the two lovers were belatedly united.
Two trees grew up over their graves, entwining together to form a Lovers Knot, standing guard over the site.

Bible teaches the Trinity is Idolatry

1 John 5:21
“Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.”

The #Trinity is a man made #Idol
NOWHERE in the bible does it mention a "Trinity"

There are many places it tells you that Yah says that
"I am the ONLY true God"

Not that "I'm a triune, man-made being"
He never said that!

THE TRUTH ABOUT THE TRINITY

1 Corinthians 11:3: But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.

It couldn’t be any clearer. Apostle Paul says that the head of Christ is God, Father God, which confirms the biblical truth that the Son is not co-equal to His Father God, but subordinate to Him.

John 14:28: You have heard Me say to you, ‘I am going away and coming back to you.’ If you loved Me, you would rejoice because I said, ‘I am going to the Father,’ for My Father is greater than I.

These words are from the very mouth of Jesus Christ Himself confirming that His Father is greater than Him.

Ahh, retro is good... nowadays it is possible to enjoy the sanity of the KDE3 desktop with modern software, thanks to the Trinity Desktop project.

Until very recently, there seemed to be an issue with installation on Mageia, but the latest version seems to have overcome this, and I was able to install it last week. After I got back from my birthday trip to Changwon this weekend, I remembered that I had to log in, and it worked first time. After about thirty minutes of clicking, it now looks pretty much like my current Plasma desktop minus the widgets.

Unlike "certain" OSes that I could mention, there is a whole range of different desktop systems to suit your requirements and taste. I liked KDE3 very much and lamented its loss during the early KDE4 fiasco; there is a lot to be said for a graphical desktop which is simple and exposes software in a straightforward menu system. However, TDE (Trinity Desktop Environment) is essentially KDE retro-styled to use a modern version of Trolltech's Qt and it runs everything that I would normally run under Plasma (also recently installed with the upgraded Mageia OS).

Fun??? I should bally well say so...

Why I Rejected the Trinity

I'm here to tell you.... people who call themselves "Christians" will flake out on you...

They will totally stop speaking to you and classify you as some kind of devil or something, when you try to point out the problems with the Trinity!

I believe in YHWH The Father!
And I also believe in Jesus Christ!
But the two are NOT the same individual!

And that's the end of it!
I don't want to debate the subject with you!
I have already lost people that I thought were my friends over this!
It's between YOU and your bible!

People just want to TALK, they never want to LISTEN!

Good day brothers and sisters. It’s now Trinity Sunday. God is three in one; God the Father, God the Son, and the Holy Ghost. He made us in His image. We are the body (formed from the ground), spirit (the breath that God breathed into our body), and together we are one living soul. You cannot be a living soul without your body, or the spirit. God is a Spirit living in the body of the Son Yeshua (Jesus Christ). When we see the Son we see the Father. Now let’s read from the Smart Book;
Psalm 8 Amplified Bible
The LORD’S Glory and Man’s Dignity.

God has made us little lower than Himself, but He has given us dominion over His creation. I will mention that those of the Jehovah Witness faith do not believe in the Trinity of God, but let’s see what their own translation of God’s Word says;
Matthew 28:16-20
16 However, the 11 disciples went to Galʹi•lee+ to the mountain where Jesus had arranged for them to meet.+ 17 When they saw him, they did obeisance,* but some doubted. 18 Jesus approached and spoke to them, saying: “All authority has been given me in heaven and on the earth.+ 19 Go, therefore, and make disciples of people of all the nations,+ baptizing them+ in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you.+ And look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.”*+
And from Matthew 3:16-17
16 After being baptized, Jesus immediately came up from the water; and look! the heavens were opened up,+ and he saw God’s spirit descending like a dove and coming upon him.+ 17 Look! Also, a voice from the heavens+ said: “This is my Son,+ the beloved, whom I have approved.”+

So you cannot be blinded from seeing that God is a Trinity even in the Jehovah Witness’s New World Translation of the Bible. May God in all of His persons bless you.
