Former United States President Donald Trump won the Republican Party primary election in Louisiana with 88.8% of the votes and secured 47 additional delegates, according to projections by NBC News.

In addition, incumbent US President Joe Biden was the winner of the Democratic Party primary in the same state, receiving the support of 88.2% of the voters and winning 42 delegates.
