  • I don't understand why our side is engaging in so much hand-wringing over the Supreme Court.

    For one thing, the SC has been murdering millions of citizens for a long time and trashing the Constitution for many years, and we just mostly yawned. OK, now it's hitting a little closer to home.

    For another thing, the Supreme Court does not secure our rights, we do.

    Furthermore, we still have plenty of legal options, and they have yet to be expended.

    Failing all those, we still have the Declaration of Independence, which says: "whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it...."

    Maybe more than anything we just want to go back to our distractions, and not have to deal with what we are facing--the imminent demise of freedom, and the end of our Constitutional Republic, unless we do whatever it takes to prevent that from happening.

    Secession isn't a bad idea, but first we need to expend our legal remedies, and the "alter" clause, and if both of those fail, then we can secede.

A documented act of #Treason at the time. What is never discussed and needs to be considered is whether we as citizens are #Electing that same quality today? Are those elected displaying qualities of #Honor, #Principle, #Courage? Not in just words but in actions? Is the reality, the simple truth that we are all just being duped by slick packaging and being told what we want to hear?
