• 18C/64F today with low humidity... must be global warming eh?

We don't have a lot of sunspots facing us at the moment, that is probably, at least part of the reason it is cooler. Though there are some coming around that will no doubt push our temps back up again.

  • Wow, that is a nice COOL day out today! 18C/64F with low humidity! Enjoy it while it lasts, that was the result of that low sunspot area that just went by us. There's lots of sunspots coming around to face us now, so it should warm up.

  • It's a little cooler today, thank God. Notice no sunspots facing us? That's why. But we do have a lot coming around the left so, it will warm up again.

  • Looks like a warm one today. Notice the sunspots facing us, that's where the current warming is coming from (not man made). But, it looks fairly clear on the left side which is what is coming around to face us which should give us a break from the higher temps in the week to come.

Sunspots cause warming, not CO2, plants need CO2 to live and we need them.

  • It's a ice day to sit outside, have a and enjoy my sunspots (the source of the heat increase today). It was cool due to a lack of sunspots, now it is warming up and this is why...

  • The surface of the sun today. Notice the lack of sunspots currently facing us and we have cooler temps, 17C/63F here at this time compared to 22C/72F when we had a ton of sunspots facing us. It looks like we have some more sunspots coming around the left side of this image, so I expect things to warm up when they do. It's not man made global warming folks, it's sunspots and it is out of our control. Don't be fooled.

  • The sun today, showing why it was warmer last week, and cooler this weekend. SUNSPOTS cause global warming, not man. We have fewer now, so it is cooler. Watch for them at NASA's helioviewer website and you can predict warming/cooling periods.

  • I experienced the Great American Eclipse under some clouds that rolled in, as is typical for astronomical events, during the moment of maximum eclipse. The birds stopped singing except for one squawking bird in a tall tree, the squirrels went home, the color of the ambient light changed from orange to blue as it would in the evening, the shadows on the ground became softer, the wind speed increased and the temperature cooled. It was eerily quiet for a few minutes before the normal activity returned with the unveiled sunlight; several sunspots were visible during this April 8th solar eclipse.

  • This is why it's cool (and snow on the ground where I am) at the moment. There are no sunspots facing us on the sun, but as you can see by this image (this is current as of the time of this posting), there are some pretty big ones coming around which will be facing us within a day or two and watch the temps warm back up when they do. There's no global warming, it's just the 11 year solar cycle, of which we're at the warmest point of it combined with sunspot activity. Sunspots always lead to warmer temps, always. That's what causes warming, nothing else.
