Three people have been killed and another six injured in an explosion at an airfield near the Russian city of Ryazan on Monday, according to emergency services.
"There was an ignition of a fuel truck as a result of an explosion. According to preliminary information, nine people were injured, three of them died," the emergency services stated and added one plane was also damaged in the incident.
The cause of the explosion is still unknown but an investigation is underway.
