Taiwan’s government has been trying to improve its defenses by extending mandatory military service and revamping ongoing training for reservists as part of a broader shift in defense strategy.

Being prepared to defend your community when the police fail in that duty is entirely legitimate. Responding to police provocations & violence is natural. But nihilistic rioting and looting are bang out of order. And every single idiot who's got themselves caught on video doing it is going to have their door kicked in and be flung into prison. If you really want to get even with the authorities, then pass this on: Every single person who has been threatened, beaten or arrested by the police must put in a complaint to the Police Complaints Commission. They will tell you to complain first to your local police force. Do it! They are legally obliged to respond promptly, but hit with an avalanche of complaints they'll not be able to cope & will break the rules they're legally bound it follow. That's going to cost them a fortune in overtime and settlement payments. It's a form of LEGAL RIOT. Use their system against them & stay away from 'minority' areas. Leave them & Plod to fall out!
