Oil price cap to affect global market - Putin
Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday that attempts by the West to introduce a price cap on oil his country is producing will very likely result in "serious consequences for the global energy market."
"Such actions are contrary to the principles of market relations," he told new Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, according to the Kremlin's press release.
In addition, cooperation within the OPEC+ alliance to "ensure the stability of the world oil market" was described as "positive" by both sides.
