• Significant reduction in my retina disease symptoms with the CarboHaler
    May 2, 2024

My name is Nathan, I am 40 years old. One and a half years ago I developed a rare retina disease called Central Serous Retinopathy.

The retina disease ultimately damaged the retina in my right eye, which led to binocular diplopia accompanied by unmanageable symptoms of severe tightness, pressure, pain, and discomfort in the ocular area and frontal head area.

I have tried countless forms of treatment, therapies and medication. The one, and only thing that has had a significant and real positive impact on my symptoms is the CarboHaler. I received my CarboHaler this past Friday, and only a few days in to using it I have already experienced a significant reduction in my symptoms. I personally use the device 2 to 3 times a day with the carbon dioxide levels set between 5 to 8%. My sessions usually last between five and 10 minutes.

I am very grateful for this device, and look forward to continued progress on my healing journey.

  • Fully Recovered From Covid Within a Couple of Days

"I had covid pretty bad, but thanks to the Carbohaler I could recover really fast. I had problems breathing, and I couldn’t talk as my throat was inflamed. Apart from the high fever and extreme tiredness I also had a lot of dry cough. When I started using the Carbohaler it had a huge impact. My oxygen levels immediately stabilized at around 99% and my cough disappeared. Within a couple of days, I was fully recovered."

  • I'd consider the website a work in progress still, but more content is up including the new version of a module that was previously posted. I wrote a blog post about the pivot from B2C to B2B at https://infoonity.com/blog/06-2024/pivot-explanation.html, but I'll copy and paste the text here for convenience.

    Pivot Explanation

Infoonity is pivoting from a B2C to B2B business model.

In the past, Infoonity had a B2C (business to consumer) business model, for example by having books for sale on Amazon. However, it was decided that more impact could be made by having an open content business model, with revenue coming in the form of consulting and premium support for organizations that want it. This business model was inspired by Red Hat's business model of offering open source programs while making some money through consulting.

This has led to some of the B2C content being made free and put under the Creative Commons CC0 license. So, in the context of the USA, this means that the CC0 licensed content is in the public domain. This is good since small businesses, such as some vendors of larger organizations, can get some free information security awareness content, and if other organizations pay for some more customized information security awareness content, the licensing for sharing that content with their vendors can be made easier. Additionally, while some of the content is available on some social media platforms, some companies may have bans on those websites. So if a website like Youtube is banned for example in a company, that same company could allow https://Infoonity.com and the videos on the website to be unblocked so that employees could enjoy some information security awareness content relevant to their jobs.

So, hopefully you enjoy the pivot and the content. Please feel free to share the CC0 content, such as some of the videos and readings, if you find those useful. If you're part of an organization that wants some more customized content, such as curated role-based content, feel free tocontact Infoonity for consultation. You can help others while helping your organization's cyberinsurability posture.

  • Historical Perspectives
Ancient Civilizations: Early human societies measured time using natural phenomena—such as the movement of the sun, moon, and stars. The Sumerians, Egyptians, and Mayans developed calendars and astronomical observations.

Mechanical Clocks: The invention of mechanical clocks in medieval Europe revolutionized timekeeping. By the 14th century, clocks with escapements allowed for more accurate tracking of hours and minutes.

Standard Time: The 19th century saw the establishment of standard time zones, essential for railways and communication networks. Sir Sandford Fleming proposed a worldwide standard time system in 1879, leading to the adoption of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).

    Scientific Developments

Relativity Theory: Albert Einstein's theories of relativity in the early 20th century fundamentally altered our understanding of time. Time is relative, affected by speed and gravity, leading to the concept of spacetime.

Quantum Mechanics: In the realm of the very small, time behaves differently. Quantum mechanics introduces probabilities and uncertainties, challenging classical notions of time as a linear, continuous progression.

    Technological Advances
Atomic Clocks: The development of atomic clocks in the mid-20th century provided unprecedented precision. These clocks, based on the vibrations of atoms, are accurate to within billionths of a second.

Global Positioning System (GPS): GPS technology relies on the precision of atomic clocks to provide accurate positioning information. Time synchronization is crucial for the system's accuracy.

    Cultural Aspects

Perception of Time: Different cultures perceive and value time differently. Western cultures often see time linearly and quantitatively, while many Eastern cultures view it cyclically and qualitatively.

Time in Art and Literature: Time has been a central theme in art, Lost Time" to Salvador Dalí's "The Persistence of Memory" explore the nature and impact of time.

    Future Directions

Temporal Physics: Research in temporal physics explores the nature of time, including the possibility of time travel, the directionality of time, and the flow of time in different environments.

Artificial Intelligence and Time: AI can change how we interact with and manage time, from personal productivity tools to large-scale simulations of temporal processes.

Societal Changes: As technology accelerates, our relationship with time continues to evolve. Concepts like the "singularity" suggest a future where time's progression could be fundamentally different from our current understanding.

  • The decision, especially on the Trump Immunity case, may have the biggest impact. Many people thought that the Supreme Court would remand it and instruct the district court to parse what is and what is not an official act. If the Supreme Court was going to do that, it would have a quick decision. This opens the door to two possibilities.
    (1) The court will state that Trump has virtually absolute immunity. That is probably the wisest decision that would wipe out all cases against Trump. If this is NOT done, then there will be a very dangerous precedent, and you can bet that denying that immunity to Trump can then be used against Biden and even Obama if he intervenes in the current election. Granting virtual absolute immunity will save the USA from weaponizing the DOJ and transforming the nation into a banana republic. You can bet WHATEVER they have done to Trump, the other side will do to Biden et al.
    (2) The Special Prosecutor has NO jurisdiction to do what he is doing. He was not appointed by Congress nor confirmed. He was a special appointment by the DOJ, and he actually does not even fall under prosecutorial immunity himself. That would be a valid decision that would end the Washington and Florida cases.

Catholic Churches Going Bankrupt as Families Abandon the Church to Protect their Children from Pedophile Priests
It was reported earlier this week that another Catholic Diocese in California has filed for bankruptcy due to recent surges in lawsuits filed against pedophile priests during the past few years, which has caused attendance and support for Catholic Churches to plummet. The Fresno Diocese is not the first one to file for bankruptcy due to backlashes from pedophile priests, but follows the Diocese of Sacramento, the Archdiocese of San Francisco, the Archdiocese of Oakland, and the Diocese of Santa Rosa. While Catholic Churches across the U.S. have been going bankrupt in recent years as more and more cases are filed by the victims of Catholic pedophile priests who prey on children, that process accelerated in California after a 2019 legislative bill was passed that opened a three-year “look-back window” that would allow survivors of childhood sexual abuse to file suits based on old claims that would normally have fallen outside the statute of limitations. When the window closed in 2022, more than 2,000 individuals around the state had filed cases against the Catholic Church. Many of the victims who are now adults and were formerly abused by Catholic clergy, claim that filing bankruptcy by these dioceses is a cop out to avoid paying out settlements to the victims. And this problem of pedophile clergy is not limited to just the Catholic Church, but is a problem in ALL Christian Churches who have a central authority figure or figures that claim to be more holy than the non-clergy, and are trusted to have access to children.
