"We are seeing reports of a balloon transiting Latin America. We now assess it is another Chinese surveillance balloon," he told reporters, without providing further information. The first suspected Chinese surveillance balloon was discovered in US airspace on Wednesday. China said the balloon was a "scientific and meteorological research device" which entered the US through "force majeure." Beijing rejected accusations that it violated international law. 4C™
