  • Musk is also correct when he states that even areas such as TRANSFIGURATION are made technically possible through hypothetical changes in our DNA sequence (1 Corinthians 15:52).

    1 Corinthians 15:51-53 (KJV)
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

    Tokens for good

‘Shew me a token for good; that they which hate me may see it, and be ashamed: because thou, LORD, hast holpen me, and comforted me.’ Psalm 86:17
SUGGESTED FURTHER READING: 2 Peter 1:16–2:3

The Apostle Peter, after he has described Christ upon the mount as manifesting himself to his servants in the transfiguration, declares, ‘We have also a more sure word of prophecy. What, more sure than the transfiguration? Yes, more sure even than the evidence of their eyes when they saw their Lord glorified upon the holy mount. If you have ever been upon the mount with Christ, and if you have seen all his brightness, yet still you are not to compare even the sight of your eyes, when they see the best and brightest that they can see, with the word of testimony which must be sure, a light that shineth in a dark place’.

All the rapt experiences which we have ever had are not to be trusted in comparison with the word of God. I say it advisedly, even the sweetest communion we have ever had with Christ may after all be suspected, and indeed it is upon such ripe fruit that Satan soon sets his hand that he may rob us of its savour if possible, for he is not slow to cast doubts upon the holiest joys of God’s elect.

There may come a time when we shall fear that we were carried away by excitement, or deluded by fanaticism, but he who speaks the word of Scripture cannot lie, and when his Spirit speaks that same truth into the soul we have therein a testimony which never can be doubted, but must be accepted over the head of everything. ‘Let God be true, but every man a liar’, ourselves and all, all liars as compared with the eternal verities of the revelation of God the Holy Spirit. The basis of faith is not our experience, but the testimony of God, and we must mind we do not make the feet of our image partly of God’s gold and partly of our clay. Our experience may be in error, but the infallible word of God cannot be, and it is upon that alone which we must stand.

FOR MEDITATION: The bottom line should always be, ‘what saith the scripture?’ (Romans 4:3; Galatians 4:30). All sources of instruction should be submitted to the test of scripture and rejected, if found wanting (Deuteronomy 13:1–5; Isaiah 8:19–20; Matthew 4:1–11; Colossians 2:6–8).

  • At the end of 2019, Nancy Pelosi conducted the procedure to remove President Trump. After nearly 2 years of investigation, costing more than 38 million, Special Counsel Bob Mueller has not found any evidence to conclude that President Trump colluded with Russia. Even after President Trump's resignation, Nancy Pelosi still wants to impeach President Trump again, resulting in both times being rejected by Congress. I don't understand why Nancy Pelosi hates President Trump so terribly.

Nancy Pelosi comes from a political family, whose father was a federal Representative and later Mayor. The first time she ran for office, Nancy Pelosi was elected to the position of Congressman in 1987 and in 2007 became the first female Speaker of the National Assembly. The Democratic Party is often known as the party of the poor, but Democratic politicians are not poor. So does Nancy Pelosi, whose net worth is at least over $100 million, including vineyards and investments in Big Tech companies. Many Republican and Democratic politicians have criticized Nancy Pelosi as "a rich and arrogant woman."

The United States entered an important historical turning point when former Senator Edward Kennedy and Congress Representative Nancy Pelosi enthusiastically campaigned for Barack Obama to run for President in 2008, and he was elected, becoming the 44th President of the United States. Ky.

    Obama is socialist

Stanley Kurtz, a professor at Harvard and Chicago universities, a member of the Center for Professional Ethics and Policy Studies, is the author of several investigative documents on Obama. Professor Stanley Kurtz said: “Obama concealed his political core by distorting the news to polish the past. Throughout his adult life, Obama was influenced by socialist theory, and his relationships with socialist community organizations and the far left. Had these been discovered in 2008, voters would not have voted for Obama.”

A few key takeaways from Stanley Kurtz's "Radical-in-Chief: Barack Obama and the Untold Story of American Socialism":

    1. In his senior year at Columbia University, Obama attended the "Socialist Scholars Conference" on April 1 and 2, 1983 at the Great Hall of Manhattan's Cooper Union, New York City. Obama's name was found on the list of the Socialist Democratic Party of the United States. Ky (Democratic Socialist of America.) In his memoir “Dream from My Father” Obama said that attending the “Socialist Scholars Conference” for the first time was a life-changing factor.

    2. Obama has close contact with two far-left leaders, Bill Ayers and Jeremiah Wright in Chicago. These two are the core advocates of community organizations operating according to the socialist model in the fields of society, health, education, finance, fighting for justice and the rights of people. poor. Some typical organizations are: UNO (United Neighborhood Organization), Midwest Academy, ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now), Building One America, . . . UNO and Midwest Academy are two organizations with government-funded private school systems. ACORN was the strongest campaigning organization for Obama in 2008.

    3. Socialism, the influence of socialist conventions, and socialist community organizations shaped Obama's politics. In order to put the country on the path of socialism, during his two terms as President, Obama took it one step at a time: The first was to create opportunities for socialist community organizations to cooperate with the government. permission. The believer in the body and out of the body

‘We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.’ 2 Corinthians 5:8
    SUGGESTED FURTHER READING: Philippians 1:21–26

The spirits of those saints who have left their bodies in the grave are not annihilated; they live on. Paul could not have counted it better to be annihilated than to lead a life of holy confidence. The saints are not dead; our Lord gave a conclusive answer to that error when he said, ‘Now that the dead are raised, even Moses shewed at the bush, when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.’ Those who have departed this life are still alive: we are sure of that, or else Paul would not have preferred that state. Neither are they unconscious, as some say, for who would prefer torpor to active confidence? Whatever trials there may be in the Christian life here below, the man of faith does really enjoy life and could not prefer unconsciousness. Neither are the saints in purgatorial fires, for nobody would desire to be tormented, and we may be sure that the apostle Paul would not have been willing to be in purgatory rather than to live here and serve his Lord.

The saints live in consciousness and happiness. Moses came and talked with Christ on the mount of Transfiguration, though he had no body, just as readily as Elijah, though that mighty prophet carried his body with him when he ascended in a chariot of fire. The body is not necessary to consciousness or to happiness. The best of all is that the spirits of the departed are with Christ; ‘to be with Christ; which is far better’, said the apostle. For ‘ever with the Lord’, their portion is allotted them. It is the Lord’s own prayer: ‘I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory,’ and the prayer is fulfilled in them.

FOR MEDITATION: (Our Own Hymn Book no.865 v.1—Samuel Crossman, 1664)
‘Jerusalem on high my song and city is,
My home whene’er I die, the centre of my bliss.
O happy place! When shall I be,
My God, with Thee, and see Thy face?’

  • IF ALL HIS FOLLOWERS HAVE DIED, HOW COULD JESUS SAY THAT SOME OF THEM WOULD NOT TASTE DEATH UNTIL THEY SEE HIM COMING IN HIS KINGDOM?
    Bible Study / Daily Devotional
    Daily Devotions
Average reading time is about 4 and a half minutes

This verse can be best understood in light of what immediately follows it—the transfiguration of Christ before Peter, James, and John. The next chapter describes this experience and how God spoke out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased” (Matthew 17:5).

The apostle Peter refers to this event in his writings. Notice how he describes it: “For we did not follow cunningly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of His majesty. For He received from God the Father honor and glory when such a voice came to Him from the Excellent Glory: ‘This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.’ And we heard this voice which came from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain” (2 Peter 1:16–18, emphasis mine).

This clearly is a reference to the transfiguration of Jesus. It was like a glimpse into the future for these three disciples. Peter speaks of this preview as the “coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” In addition, Moses and Elijah appeared with Jesus on the mount. Why? They represent the people who will be saved in God’s kingdom at the second coming. Moses represents those who have died and will be resurrected, and Elijah represents those who never taste death.

But isn’t Moses still dead? Notice what the Bible says. “Yet Michael the archangel, in contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses…” (Jude 9). Why else would Satan argue at Moses’ graveside except that the Lord resurrected him?

Peter, James, and John saw a glimpse of the coming of Christ before tasting death. It’s my hope to see Jesus come soon! How about you?

  • Good morning brothers and sisters. Yes, it's Valentines Day, but more importantly it's Transfiguration Sunday. This Wednesday is Ash Wednesday and the beginning of Lent. Our Lord Yeshua (Jesus Christ) is amazing. Let's see what the Smart Book has to say about Him today;
    Mark 9:2-9New Revised Standard Version
2 Six days later, Jesus took with him Peter and James and John, and led them up a high mountain apart, by themselves. And he was transfigured before them,
3 and his clothes became dazzling white, such as no one on earth could bleach them.
4 And there appeared to them Elijah with Moses, who were talking with Jesus.
5 Then Peter said to Jesus, "Rabbi, it is good for us to be here; let us make three dwellings, one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah."
6 He did not know what to say, for they were terrified.
7 Then a cloud overshadowed them, and from the cloud there came a voice, "This is my Son, the Beloved; listen to him!"
8 Suddenly when they looked around, they saw no one with them any more, but only Jesus.
9 As they were coming down the mountain, he ordered them to tell no one about what they had seen, until after the Son of Man had risen from the dead.
Jesus took Peter, James, and John up a high mountain, which I would think was a tiring journey. It was all worth it as the Lord was transfigured before them. His clothes were dazzling white, so white that they would put anything bleached white to shame. As if that wasn't awesome enough, there appeared to them Elijah and Moses too talking with Jesus. This was a terrifying scene for the disciples.
Peter said to Jesus, "Rabbi, it is good for us to be here; let us make three dwellings, one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah." Oh but then a cloud overshadowed them, and from the cloud there came a voice, "This is my Son, the Beloved; listen to Him!" Suddenly when they looked around, they saw no one with them any more, but only Jesus. They had seen Jesus as He was. One day we will too. They were going to see Him that way again after the resurrection, this is why Christ ordered them to tell no one about what they had seen, until after He was risen from the dead. One day we will see Him coming in the clouds and see Him as He is.
I had a customer give me a hand out from the Jehovah Witness Church the other day. It talked about Jesus. Do you realize that they deny the Holy Trinity. We read about two parts of the Holy Trinity in today's reading. The Father and the Son. It states in the Bible that God is a Spirit and that we are to worship Him in the Spirit. One day if we are not alive and breathing at the return of Christ we will be spirited away to the Father. Our body will remain here and sleep until the Lord's return. Then we will all be resurrected into our new spiritual bodies that will not be subject to the laws of this earth, such as gravity and such. As a matter fact, this old dying earth will be transformed too and a New Jerusalem will come down from heaven to it. The Lord is preparing it for us now. All of this is astonishing to your mind as the transfiguration was to to the disciples. So yes, enjoy Valentine's Day, but remember our Transfigured Lord on this day too.

Take Up Your Cross and Follow Jesus
23 And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. 24 For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it. 25 For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses or forfeits himself? 26 For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words, of him will the Son of Man be ashamed when he comes in his glory and the glory of the Father and of the holy angels. 27 But I tell you truly, there are some standing here who will not taste death until they see the kingdom of God.”

    The Transfiguration
28 Now about eight days after these sayings he took with him Peter and John and James and went up on the mountain to pray. 29 And as he was praying, the appearance of his face was altered, and his clothing became dazzling white. 30 And behold, two men were talking with him, Moses and Elijah, 31 who appeared in glory and spoke of his departure, which he was about to accomplish at Jerusalem. 32 Now Peter and those who were with him were heavy with sleep, but when they became fully awake they saw his glory and the two men who stood with him. 33 And as the men were parting from him, Peter said to Jesus, “Master, it is good that we are here. Let us make three tents, one for you and one for Moses and one for Elijah”—not knowing what he said. 34 As he was saying these things, a cloud came and overshadowed them, and they were afraid as they entered the cloud. 35 And a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is my Son, my Chosen One; listen to him!” 36 And when the voice had spoken, Jesus was found alone. And they kept silent and told no one in those days anything of what they had seen.
Luke 9:23–36 (ESV) Take Up Your Cross and Follow Jesus 23 And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. 27 But I tell you truly, there are some standing here who will not taste death until they see the kingdom of God.” The Transfiguration 28 Now about eight days after these sayings he took with him Peter and John and James and went up on the mountain to pray.
