- OUR DAILY OLDIES: TODAY'S MELODY IS AN INSTRUMENTAL FROM THE 1960s BY THE RAMSEY LEWIS TRIO-I REMEMBER WHEN I WAS VERY YOUNG AND LISTENED TO MUSIC ON THE RADIO ALL THE TIME,THAT SOME MUSIC STATIONS, WHEN THE TIME WAS CLOSE TO THE COMMERCIAL BREAK OF THE HALF HOUR, THEY PLAYED THIS ONE AND OTHER NICE INSTRUMENTALS, BUT NEVER THE WHOLE MELODY, THEY PLAYED A FEW SECONDS AND THEN WENT TO COMMERCIALS AND IDENTIFYING THE STATION. I GOT MAD, BECAUSE I LIKED THE MUSIC, BUT THEY NEVER PLAYED THE WHOLE RECORD. LATER ON I STARTED COLLECTING RECORDS AND I GOT THE WHOLE LP ALBUM. MEMORIES ARE REALLY LIKE LIVING THOSE TIMES AGAIN.
