• A bad book is a big thief, For it robs a man of his time, and of his good principles. Many young people have been ruined by the vile literature which is now so common. A German writer says, “Such books rob the public of time, money, and the attention which ought properly to belong to good literature with noble aims. Of bad books we can never read too little; of the good never too much.”

Books should to one of these four ends conduce:
For wisdom, piety, delight, or use.

  • El Amor Invencible, or "Invincible Love" in English, is a concept that has been present throughout human history. It is a type of love that is incredibly strong and resilient, able to overcome all obstacles in its path. This love is often associated with the idea of true love or soulmates, and is seen as a force that is unstoppable and unbreakable.

Throughout literature and art, El Amor Invencible has been depicted in various forms. It is often portrayed as a force that can conquer even death itself, as in the story of Romeo and Juliet. In this tragic tale, the love between the two young lovers is so strong that it ultimately leads to their untimely deaths, but their love persists even in death.

El Amor Invencible is also often depicted as a love that endures through time and distance. In the novel The Time Traveler's Wife, the love between the two main characters transcends time itself, as the husband is able to time travel and visits his wife throughout various points in her life. Despite the challenges they face, their love remains constant and unbreakable.

In popular culture, El Amor Invencible is often associated with romantic comedies and fairy tales. These stories typically follow a similar narrative arc, where two people fall in love despite various obstacles and challenges, and ultimately end up together in the end. While these stories may seem simplistic and unrealistic, they tap into the universal desire for a love that is unbreakable and invincible.

However, El Amor Invencible is not limited to romantic love. It can also refer to the love between family members or friends, where the bond between them is so strong that nothing can break it. This type of love is often seen in stories about heroes or warriors, who are willing to risk everything for the sake of their loved ones.

Ultimately, El Amor Invencible is a concept that speaks to the human desire for connection and meaning in life. It represents a type of love that is able to overcome all obstacles, and is therefore seen as incredibly powerful and desirable. While it may seem like an idealized fantasy, the idea of invincible love can inspire us to strive for deeper connections and relationships in our own lives. https://tusmundo.tv

Blueblooded mama's boy Waldo Emerson Smith-Jones is swept overboard during a South Seas voyage for his lifelong ill health. He finds himself on a jungle island. His bookish education has not prepared him to cope with these surroundings, and he is a coward. He is terrified when he encounters primitive, violent men, ape-like throwbacks in mankind's evolutionary history. He runs from them, but when he reaches a dead end, he successfully makes a stand, astonishing himself. While keeping the hairy brutes at bay, he meets a beautiful girl, Nadara, also on the run. In an uncharacteristic gesture, he saves her from the grasp of one ape-man during their escape. He is shocked that she believes him a hero, mistaking his frightened screams for war cries. She calls him Thandar, meaning "the brave one". Originally published in two separate stories. The Cave Girl begun in February 1913 and published by "All-Story" in July, August, and September 1913; and The Cave Man begun in 1914 and published by "All-Story Weekly" throughout March and April 1917. The book version was first published in 1925.
