Forgot yesterday was the 7th. In my defense, I was busy yesterday. Anyhow, December 7, 1941, the original day which would live in infamy, Japan had attacked the then Territory of Hawaii, United States because America failed to remove the naval blockades around them due to the wars that Japan was waging in Asia.
Following the bombing on 7-Decmber-1941, "internment camps" were set up by the Democrat led military due to "suspicions of disloyalty" to America. My own family was caught up in that bull. Many of those camps went on to enlist to prove their loyalty, and form the US Army's infamous 442nd Regimental Combat Team.
I am proud that they served our country bravely with such honor. Even if no one speaks about it today. We must learn from this so that we don't repeat these mistakes that the left seems intent on bringing us back down to.
