The Constitution, The Three Branches of Government, and the Great Problem: “All that is necessary for evil to succeed is that good men do nothing.” ― Edmund Burke For the current era, All that is necessary for the #Republic to be lost is for those who have taken #TheOath to do nothing. Like everything happening it comes down to the lack of #Accountability. The governments of the United States are divided into three equal authorities each with their own functions. The #Legislatures create law (They are the only ones who can). The #ExecutiveBranches enforce law (with #ExecutiveOrders only lawful under statute or Constitutional powers). The #Judiciary adjudicates law with #SCOTUS vacating law (not creating). The great failings of this republic can be found in the preeminence of #PoliticalParties and philosophy over the three branches. Each branch should be jealously defending and fighting over their authorities. The #OathofOffice is now just a Performa activity on the path to being given the mantle of authority of elected or appointed office. No one is held to their oath. The root of all this, is and has been the #InfluenceofMoney from people and organizations that cannot vote for the office they are supporting. This needs to be addressed.
