The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS), also known by its Arabic acronym Daesh, allegedly claimed responsibility for the attack on the Kabul military airport that left at least ten dead and multiple wounded, the group supposedly stated in a statement posted on its social media on Monday.
The Amaq News Agency, linked to the militant Islamist group, revealed that the same IS militant reportedly took part in the attack on the hotel in Kabul popular with Chinese nationals back in December, but managed to escape safely after the operation. Later, ISIS took responsibility for the attack in the hotel and said that they had detonated two explosive devices placed inside two bags.
