Because bills will go unpaid, also because there will be no heating or cooling in the home (if one can stay in the home). Homelessness will also go up, because evictions will go up because rents will go up because rents will go up to cover the costs of maintaining the property that you're on goes up. Mind you, property owners won't lower your rent when prices go down, most property owners are greedy. It's like that in Hawaii. It's a vicious circle. Anyone else notice that it's been cooler this year than last year at the same time? I have. Normally here where I live it was normally in the low 80s -- 82-83 degrees Fahrenheit. Lately, it's been in the upper 70s. 79 degrees to the really low 80s. It's been cold for us here in Hawaii.
