The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) said its forces airdropped humanitarian aid into the northern part of the Gaza Strip on Tuesday.
The aerial delivery of aid was conducted by four C-130 US Air Force aircraft resulting in 50,600 US meal equivalents reaching Palestinian civilians. According to CENTCOM's estimates, the US has airdropped approximately 797 tons of humanitarian assistance supplies thus far.
"These airdrops are part of a sustained effort, and we continue to plan follow-on aerial deliveries," CENTCOM stated in a post on X, formerly Twitter.
