Former United States President Donald Trump called for unity and extended praise to his political rivals after being projected winner of the Iowa Republican presidential caucuses.
In his victory speech, Trump declared, "It's time now, for everybody, our country, to come together." Expressing congratulations to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and former UN Ambassador and South Carolina Governor, Nikki Haley, he emphasized fostering a sense of camaraderie.
"It would be so nice if we could come together and straighten up the problems of the world," he stressed.
