The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) reiterated New York Governor Kathy Hochul's earlier statement and confirmed it could not trace a threat of terrorism related to the car explosion that took place on the Niagara Falls International Rainbow Bridge between the United States and Canada. FBI Special Agent-in-Charge Matthew Miraglia stated at a press conference that the agency managed to identify the owner of the vehicle and is now examining his personality, belongings, and social media. However, he stressed that "we feel, at this point, this might be just something that occurred, there's no larger picture here to look at for now."
