Happy Fourth of July weekend. You know we have the best country in the world here in the USA! It's because God has allowed it to be. In our infancy we truly recognized God and loved Him. During the Civil War we all cried out to Him. He was with us through 2 World Wars. The Lord helped us stop the spread of Communism in the world during the Cold War, helping us in Korea and Vietnam. The Lord helped us stamp out the Dictatorship of Saddam Hussein. He heard our cries after the towers in New York came down. He helped us in Iraq and Afghanistan. So now what do you think? Has God left us? Have we left God? Or, is He helping us right now as we go through this great worldly struggle? It always helps to see what God has to say in His Smart Book;

Psalm 145:8-14 New Revised Standard Version
8 The Lord is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.
9 The Lord is good to all, and his compassion is over all that he has made.
10 All your works shall give thanks to you, O Lord, and all your faithful shall bless you.
11 They shall speak of the glory of your kingdom, and tell of your power,
12 to make known to all people your mighty deeds, and the glorious splendor of your kingdom.
13 Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures throughout all generations. The Lord is faithful in all his words, and gracious in all his deeds.
14 The Lord upholds all who are falling, and raises up all who are bowed down.

Well, what do you think now after reading, or hearing God's Word? I say that we should be grateful for a gracious and merciful God who is slow to anger and is abounding in steadfast love. If not, we would have been blotted out for killing His children with abortion. He would have turned His face from us for not being pleased with how He created us and desiring something different than the way He made us. No, the Lord is good to all, and His compassion is over all that He has made.

What we need to be doing, is telling everyone we know in the world about the wonders of God and all the things He has done, is doing, and will do. We need to again recognize the King and His everlasting Kingdom that will endure throughout all generations. We need to have faith in His words and understand His graciousness.

Ultimately, we need to understand that the Lord, He is the one who upholds all who are falling and raises up all who are bowed down. Mankind will never be as gracious as the Lord. We are quick to anger and abound with hatred for one another. You cannot put your faith in man to right the wrongs. No, you must put your faith in Almighty God! God will bless the nation that blesses Him and curse the nation that curses Him. What kind of nation are we going to be? I pray that we can be that nation President Reagan desired for us to be. A city on the Hill, a light to the world. We must turn our hearts to God our Father! I pray that our great nation will see it's 245th birthday and many more!

One final note for this weekend. God has the cure for Covid19. Are we gonna trust Him for it?

God bless the USA,
