Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that his country has no intention to "conquer Gaza" or to "govern Gaza" after the end of the ongoing war with Hamas.
"We'll have to find a government, a civilian government that will be there, but in the foreseeable future, we have to make sure that this doesn't happen again," Netanyahu said in an interview with Fox News. In addition, he reiterated that there will be no ceasefire until the Israeli hostages are released. However, he stressed that Israel is willing to make temporary pauses in the fighting to allow Gaza's civilians to evacuate safely.
