Former United States President Donald Trump accused the current administration of weaponizing the Department of Justice and using it against its political opponents. However, he did not rule out the possibility of doing the same if he wins the presidential elections in 2024.

"If they do this, and they've already done it, but if they want to follow through on this, yeah, it could certainly happen in reverse," Trump said in an interview on the Univision TV network. "What they've done is they've released the genie out of the box," he added.
