Good day brothers and sisters. There has been a lot of talk about sheep when referring to be woke in America for the last few years. I’m not afraid to say that I’m a sheep, but my shepherd is the Lord. Is your shepherd the Lord? Let’s see what the Smart Book has to say about this;
The LORD, the Psalmist’s Shepherd. A Psalm of David.
23 The LORD is my Shepherd [to feed, to guide and to shield me],
I shall not want.
2He lets me lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still and quiet waters.
3 He refreshes and restores my soul (life);
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
for His name’s sake.
4Even though I walk through the [sunless] valley of the shadow of death,
I fear no evil, for You are with me;
Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort and console me.
5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
You have anointed and refreshed my head with oil;
My cup overflows.
6 Surely goodness and mercy and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life,
And I shall dwell forever [throughout all my days] in the house and in the presence of the LORD.
So you see the Lord feeds me with His Word, He guides me along the path, and He shields me from the evil one. He allows me to have the rest I need. My rest is in Him. He leads me to the calm and quiet waters of life. He refreshes and has restored my soul (life). He leads me to the paths of righteousness for His names sake.
Even if I find myself walking in deep darkness, I have no fear of evil, because He is with me; He protects me with His rod and guides me with His staff, I find comfort and consolation in them. He prepares a table before me in the very presence of my enemies. When I am hot he anoints and refreshes my head with olive oil, and my cup overflows with His blessings.
Surely goodness and mercy and unfailing love shall follow my all the days of my life, and I shall dwell forever in the Lord’s house and in His presence. Because I have chosen Him I know Him. He is my Shepherd. How about you? Is the Lord your shepherd? Or are you a sheep of the worldly system?
The Lord bless and keep you, His Face shine upon you,
