Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh accused Israel on Friday of "genocide" in Gaza.

"Our people in Gaza are going through genocide, and Gaza has become a disaster area," Shtayyeh claimed during a press conference in Ramallah. "The comprehensive siege on our people in Gaza is a war crime," he added.

According to the latest data, more than 1,500 Palestinians, including 500 children, have been killed and more than 423,000 people in Gaza have been forcefully displaced since tensions in the region escalated after Hamas attacked Israel on Saturday. Israel also reportedly told the United Nations to inform all Palestinians situated in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, they have to move to the southern part during the day.
