Meta Platforms Inc. CEO Mark Zuckerberg told employees on Thursday that he aspires for the parent company of Facebook to achieve greater stability and reduce bureaucracy moving forward, the Washington Post revealed citing a company meeting recording.
Zuckerberg was reported to have said that experiencing restructuring, layoffs, and changes of this nature is undoubtedly challenging. "So it's not like we're going to end up in exactly the place that we were before because that wasn't my goal. I wanted to get to a scrappier place," he explained.
The social media giant started executing the final round of layoffs this week, delivering on its plan to axe over 10,000 roles.
