Good day brothers and sisters. It’s the Fourth Sunday since the Resurrection of our Lord. Have you ever truly desired to have a loving family? Well that is exactly what the Apostles had created after the Resurrection of our Lord. Let’s see what the Smart Book has to say about it;
Acts 2:42-47 Amplified Bible
42 They were continually and faithfully devoting themselves to the instruction of the apostles, and to fellowship, to [a]eating meals together and to prayers.
43 A sense of awe was felt by [b]everyone, and many wonders and signs (attesting miracles) were taking place through the apostles. 44 And all those who had believed [in Jesus as Savior] [c]were together and had all things in common [considering their possessions to belong to the group as a whole]. 45 And they began selling their property and possessions and were sharing the proceeds with all [the other believers], as anyone had need. 46 Day after day they met in the temple [area] continuing with one mind, and breaking bread in various private homes. They were eating their meals together with joy and generous hearts, 47 praising God continually, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord kept adding to their number daily those who were being saved.
Wow everyone was devoting themselves to the instruction of the Apostles, to fellowship, eating meals together and to prayers. Sounds like a healthy happy family to me. Everyone was in awe as the saw many wonders and signs (attesting miracles) that were taking place too. When a need was seen it was provided for.
Most of all this healthy family continued to worship together, eating together everywhere. They were praising God continually and had favor with all people. The best part is that the Lord kept adding to their number those who were being saved.
What more could you ask for in a family? I pray that if you haven’t found this family that you become this family through Yeshua (Jesus Christ).
