Two US helicopters crash after training flight
Two AH-64 Apache helicopters crashed in Alaska on their way back from a training flight, US Army Alaska spokesperson John Pennell said. He said each helicopter carried two people but did not provide any more information on possible casualties.
The helicopters are from an Army installation in Fort Wainwright, Alaska. First responders are at the scene of the crash and the incident is being investigated. Earlier this year, two helicopters crashed in Kentucky during a training mission, killing nine servicemen.
