Russian General Igor Kirillov (pictured) on Tuesday said the United States might be planning to conduct a "provocation" in Ukraine using chemical weapons and intends to place blame for the incident on Moscow.
Kirillov said Washington likely expects the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict to make it difficult for the international community to organize an effective investigation. As a result of that, according to the general, "the real organizers and perpetrators can avoid responsibility."
