Former United States President Donald Trump slammed the Department of Justice's decision to appoint a "super radical left" special counsel to head the probe into the supposedly "classified" documents the country's 45th president is believed to have kept at his Mar-a-Lago residence, stressing that after "millions" of documents were observed through the years, "they have found nothing."
"These people are corrupt, yet they go after innocent people under the guise of legitimacy," Trump said in a speech at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida. "This is a rigged deal, just as the 2020 election was rigged, and we can't let them get away with it," the former president stressed. "I have proven to be one of the most honest and innocent people ever in our country," Trump underscored.
