2004 Ford F150 running off gasoline vapors - 100 miles to the gallon

Well boys and girls I am completely fed up with the news so I thought I would spend more time in this group. Honestly I think surviving the Apocalypse is one of the major themes of the Redneck Samurai. The fact that the ingenuity and improvisation of the Redneck lends itself to survival. People who are not worried about being called stupid when they have to improvise a solution to a problem. Now with that being said I want to introduce you to a device that has been worked on since the 1950s. A carburetor that will yield (sometimes more than) twice the miles per gallon than a standard gas engine. While the numbers are being guessed at, I do know that this system does work. The idea is simple. Take gasoline and turn it into a vapor instead of a spray. The result is gasoline that combusts almost completely. As it stands, usually a gasoline engine only uses 33% of the potential energy in the chemical itself. Pathetic. Now this unit basically makes vapor from gas by introducing air into the fuel itself and then uses the resulting vapor to fuel the vehicle. Now let me say this right off the bat. The idea has problems as is shown here. The problem is that when you draw air through the gasoline the way it is, the gasoline starts decreasing temperature due to the aeration. The lower the temperature the harder it is to combust. I chose this video though to start out with because it gives you the basic idea of what I am talking about. We will address the problems as we go.

Now without further ado, the Redneck Vapor Carb.
