You had a President that wanted to serve the USA and you now have a President who is concerned for his own gain.

Good Day brothers and sisters. It’s the Fifth Sunday of Lent. I wonder how we would think and act if we were close to our known end. Did you know that Jesus knows the hearts of men? Let’s read about that in the Smart Book;
John 12:1-8
New Revised Standard Version
1 Six days before the Passover Jesus came to Bethany, the home of Lazarus, whom he had raised from the dead.
2 There they gave a dinner for him. Martha served, and Lazarus was one of those at the table with him.
3 Mary took a pound of costly perfume made of pure nard, anointed Jesus' feet, and wiped them with her hair. The house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.
4 But Judas Iscariot, one of his disciples (the one who was about to betray him), said,
5 "Why was this perfume not sold for three hundred denarii and the money given to the poor?"
6 (He said this not because he cared about the poor, but because he was a thief; he kept the common purse and used to steal what was put into it.)
7 Jesus said, "Leave her alone. She bought it so that she might keep it for the day of my burial.
8 You always have the poor with you, but you do not always have me."
It was only 6 days until the Passover. The Lord was going to be our Passover Lamb. His time on earth was running out. He was at some friends home and had dinner with them. Mary was concerned about Jesus and his soon to come true passing, but Judas Iscariot was concerned for himself and what he could possibly gain monetarily.
This is a lot like what we see in the “Church” today. We have Christians looking for the coming of the Lord and concern for the lost and we have Christians concerned for themselves and what they can prosper. There’s no way for me to butter it up! That is the heart of men. The Lord is saying of the few, the remnant, “Leave them alone, for they are concerned about my return.” If this Word offends, you better search your heart. The Word is a two-edged sword and it cuts to the bone and marrow! Just because it sounds good, doesn’t mean it is. Remember Judas!
Be about the Lord’s work,
