Been fighting with the truck brakes for awhile. I finally discovered the main problem, I think. The little copper line in the photo was connecting the ABS to the proportioning valve, and it didn't fit - the fittings were too big to screw in and tighten. It was just kind of pushed up into the holes. It stayed in place mostly, but always leaked. This is the first time it was easy to remove a brake line!

I made a new line with the right size fittings. I don't know if it'll work, yet. The ends are the right distance apart, but I can't tell if anything will interfere with getting it in place until I try it. This is the biggest brake line in the truck, and it's a short little thing. It was hard to bend. I sure hope it works! :folded-hands:

If not, I might just bypass the ABS and connect the brake lines straight to the master cylinder.
