WALKING DAILY WITH CHRIST
Every night, we as Christians go to bed knowing the sun will rise to begin another day. We know this because we live it every day, and our Father God made the day and night. See> (Genesis 1:5) 5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day… We can go to sleep knowing we will wake up because our Lord Jesus Christ watches over us. See> (Psalm 3:5) 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen… We should live each day doing good works and go to bed at a reasonable time, so we’re refreshed from the sleep given to us by our Father God. See> (Psalm 127:2) 2 It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep… We need to begin each day in prayer with our Father God. Giving Him our burdens and concerns before they come to us. See> (Psalm 55:22) 22 Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. … When we do this, we can be assured our day will turn out okay, because God was in control.
My final thoughts
We know we are living righteously when we have Jesus Christ with us and beside us. See> (Matthew 28:20) 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen… Everything we say to others and every deed we do needs to be done in Jesus’ name, and at the end of our day we need to thank our Father God for seeing us through another day, as we live our lives honoring and serving His will, amen. See> (Colossians 3:17)17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
Let us pray together
Lord, we thank you for waking us up, we thank you for taking each step with us, we thank you for watching over us each night. But most of all Lord, we thank you for being our Lord and our Savior, our guide, and our God. In your name we all do pray, amen.
May we all walk under our Lord and Savior's guidance
