Tip for potential Streamers.

For all of you who want to get into professional streaming. You can either buy the aesthetics or make them. Before you decide here is a sample of the work. This is just the initial wireframe so that I can get all of the functional bits of the system (OBS Studio & Virtual DJ) to work together without it becoming a nightmare of dysfunctional tech. This is even before I have started doing the actual graphic work so that it wont all look like a 5 year old made it. This was more than a day of work if you add it all up. Taking screenshots, measuring out what can go where. Finding out how to consolidate layers so that you don't end up with something unmanageable. Of course places like Twitch deal with a great deal of this stuff but those places are also very anal about everything and will kick you off for sneezing right wing. Of course most of it is trial and error like everything in life but I kinda figured that testing for power by pushing your tongue into a light socket isn't your type of workflow. There is so much to consider but it really depends on what kind of streaming you are doing. I am obviously doing Music Shows so Virtual DJ is a must for staging and bringing up the titles 10 seconds into a song as is the music video standard. Letting yourself be creative with the project is a must but simplicity is critical for the audience to be able to figure out what is what. But also consider that the average human has the attention span of a fruit fly so you want it to be good looking and have movement. Lastly the harpoon gun is critical.......

I also know a number of you want to skip the step I am showing here but it will cut down your work load if you are around for any length of time. Maps like this help you to pick or design the interface and help you to keep track of key-mappings or additions and movement of the interface if printed in B&W and used as a note area. BTW I have only been doing this for a few months now. You may want to look for tutorials from actual pros as well.
