Campaign Finance Reform: Are all Voices Equal? Why should one person's voice in the election process hold more weight than a citizen when voting for that office? Why should someone who is not going to be represented by the person in a given office be able to influence the election for that office? Supreme Court has ruled that campaign contributions are #FreeSpeech. However, there are two kinds of speech. #VotingSpeech and #OpinionSpeech. The only form of speech that has power, voting speech is limited one opinon per constituent. It is like money in that it is tangible. Why aren't #CampaignContributions considered voting? Why not limit contributions like voting to only those who are entitled/able to vote for that office? Cap the amount allowed like a vote.
