Special ops veteran, last US military officer to leave Afghanistan nominated to head Army in Europe

If confirmed, Lt. Gen. Christopher T. Donahue, who now serves as the commander of the XVIII Airborne Corps at Fort Liberty, would take command of U.S. Army Europe and Africa at its headquarters in Wiesbaden, Germany.
