Sad to say, it seems as though there's no love for the VB crowd in the Monogame community. I had such high hopes for a worthy XNA replacement.
Seems I will inevitably end up begging for the mercy of Monogame community wizards to hack together project templates that may or nay not work properly with the content pipeline.
*sigh*

Dragon Drop 3 is a super simple GDI+ game project that teaches use of object lists, timers, and basic screen drawing techniques - and it can be fun to play!
Pick up Rad Marvin and drop him away from the dragons. The longer you can go without picking him up, the more points you earn.
Try customizing the game and adding your own features!
