Eight to 21 days without food. And well, crops need water to grow. But marine life? Apparently, more important than human life according to the Calif. Meanwhile, about 6 million Southern Californians will be required to dramatically cut water use including outdoor watering, permitted just 1x per week. While not the cheapest source of water (about 2-3X the cost of the next cheapest sources), being without it is life threatening.
