CAR CRASH & TOTAL INDIFFERENCE

As soon as I heard the very loud car crash near my home in Montréal, I went to see if anyone was injured or needed help, and screamed to my girlfriend at home to immediately call 911; And to my astonishment, no one else in the whole neighborhood ever came out to see if anyone needed help. And to avoid farther accidents, or a pileup, I even signaled with my flashlight other cars, not to enter the tunnel, obstructed with the car flipped on its side, that hit the concrete separation; Fortunately, no one died. Again, I am astounded by the total indifference of my neighbors, all apartment blocks filled on both sides of the street, on a hot and humid night, with everyone's windows surely open. Once the Police took control, I left, only to return later with my camera, to film a little, from a distance. PS: Seriously, how hard would it really be, to install safety absorbent bumpers, or water barrels, in front of dangerous concrete tunnel entrance division beams, on both ends, and possibly a vibrating approaching surface, to wake people up, when they fall asleep on the wheel, after a hard day's work, not mentioning having cars by default, manufacture-set, not to exceed speed limitations, and an emergency police remote car shutdown, to eliminate dangerous car chases.
