    The FBI has raided the home of another pro-life advocate, this time targeting a pro-life man and his family after he prayed and sang outside an abortion business last year. Prayer To Weather Life's Storms (Including Hurricanes) - The Washington Standard
    My wife stitched a needlework that hung in our home’s entrance, saying, “Life is fragile. Handle with prayer.” But to many with a secular mindset, prayer is meaningless. In our politically correct age, the notion of “thoughts and prayers” is old-fashioned – maybe even offensive to some. Consider some alternatives, declares one ...

  • I've seen real prayer in action and cannot totally agree with this. If you truly believe, your prayers can change reality.
    Matthew 21:21-22
    21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.
    22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

  • The concept of worship in Islam differs from that found in other religions and is, therefore, subject to misunderstanding. In general, worship is understood to mean the observance of certain rituals: prayer, fasting, giving charity, and other 'good works. In Islam, however, worship is much more; it is one's entire life. The definition goes something like this: "Worship is an all-inclusive term for those internal and external sayings and actions of a person that are pleasing to Allah." In other words, worship is that which is done in obedience to Allah's will, which obviously includes rituals but goes far beyond the realms of one’s beliefs, social activities, and personal contributions to one's society and fellow human beings.

  • Good day brothers and sisters. Praise the Lord that we have come to the Third Sunday of September and that the harvest is in and for the beautiful Palouse, it was a great harvest indeed. Now let’s see what the Lord has for us from His Smart Book;
    A Call to Prayer
    2 First of all, then, I urge that petitions (specific requests), prayers, intercessions (prayers for others) and thanksgivings be offered on behalf of all people, 2 for [a]kings and all who are in [positions of] high authority, so that we may live a peaceful and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. 3 This [kind of praying] is good and acceptable and pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who [b]wishes all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge and recognition of the [divine] truth. 5 For there is [only] one God, and [only] one Mediator between God and mankind, the Man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave Himself as a ransom [a substitutionary sacrifice to atone] for all, the testimony given at the right and proper time. 7 And for this matter I was appointed a preacher and an apostle—I am telling the truth, I am not lying [when I say this]—a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.
    Here we have Paul the Apostle Urging us to pray and intercede for others and to thank God for His blessings on behalf of everyone. We are urged to pray for our Governments leaders and for anyone of high authority for that matter so that we may live peaceful, quiet lives in all godliness and dignity.
    Boy we sure could use some peaceful quiet lives right now. I would say that we need to earnestly pray for that.
    God finds this kind of prayer good and acceptable to Him. He truly desires for everyone to choose salvation through His Son Yeshua (Jesus Christ). Yeshua is the Mediator for us between God and us. He, Yeshua, gave Himself as a ransom, a sacrifice to atone, for all of us. So, we need to be praying for the salvation of those who haven’t yet chosen God.
    The Lord Bless and Keep you, His Face shine upon you,

  • Brothers and Sisters.... It's time to get YOUR GLASSES on!

    Ephesians 6:10 - 6:18

    10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

    11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

    12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

    13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

    14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

    15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

    16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

    17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

    18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
