I had street boiled peanuts in Georgia. These boiled peanuts are just like those peanuts but they are canned in water, oil and spices. The street boiled peanuts came in a brown paper bag.

I have ate severeal cans of these boiled peanuts over a span of a year or two and know this is not just a one off batch.

The problem with this brand is, they have little quality control on the peanuts going into the batch. Any weird looking peanut, large or small, goes in. Several peanuts will be black and digusting looking inside the shell. Some peanuts will be just a sliver inside the shell. This is effectively no peanut at all and just a shell.

You end up paying for a lot peanuts that are missing or unedible.

When you buy peanuts in the shell, you normally can see them inside a bag and observe the appearance of them.

Is it cost effecitve to buy these canned boiled peanuts rather than boil them yourself? I don't know.

I think the purpose of prepared foods should be to give you quality food rather than you having to pick through the blems.
